Greencastle man has children in hotel during drug arrest

Greencastle Police arrested Ronnie Eckenrode at 11:26 a.m. Feb. 21 at Green Motel, 671 E. Baltimore St. He was staying there with his two small children when police were called for a domestic dispute.

During the investigation, police found drug paraphernalia and several types of controlled substances. Some of them were individually packaged to sell and distribute.

Eckenrode was charged with endangering the welfare of children, and  possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
