OBITUARY: Weston David Rock

Weston David Rock, 2, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 in Hershey Medical Center following a courageous fight with cancer since he was 10 months of age.

Born March 14, 2013 in Chambersburg, he was the son of David A. and Rebecca S. (Angle) Rock of Greencastle.

Weston was full of life and energy. He enjoyed being outside, going for tractor rides and playing in the sandbox. His years were filled with many adventures, including visits to the beach, kissing Minnie Mouse on the nose and making memories with Queen Elsa from “Frozen.”

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers and best friends, Everett A. Rock and Fletcher H. Rock; paternal grandparents, Barry L. and Karen S. Rock of Shady Grove; maternal grandparents, Steven E. and Julia “Sue” Angle of Greencastle; paternal great-grandmother, Maralee Rock, a resident of the Leland at Laurel Run, Waynesboro; maternal great-grandmother, Regina Angle, a resident of the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville; and maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Pauline Ruthrauff of Chambersburg.

Weston also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 27, 2016 in First United Methodist Church, 11 North Fayette Street, Mercersburg with the Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Welsh Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M., Friday in the church.
