Joy El Ministries can now continue to serve and minister to children as they have for many decades following an injunction issued by the court late Wednesday.

Earlier this year Pennsylvania State Police grounded the ministry’s buses, claiming that Joy El vehicles need to meet all the regulations applicable to official school buses, which are specially equipped to get drivers’ attention as students are picked up and dropped off along the road. Joy El filed suit against the state.

Federal District Judge Christopher Connor ruled in favor of Joy El’s motion for a Preliminary Injunction against PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Police Wednesday  evening.

Joy El will now have its volunteer drivers and buses back on the road for transportation of students in the Released Bible Time program as the legal case continues through the system.
