Police activitiy Friday afternoon in the area of Milnor Road and U.S. 11 included Pennsylvania State Police and the Special Emergency Response Team as authorities searched for a man wanted for threatening to kill a woman and himself..

A Greencastle man was arrested Friday for making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman and himself Thursday evening.

Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release Friday evening that John C. Scott, no age given, of Greencastle was taken into custody today without incident at 14206 Rocking M Lane in Antrim Township.

The search efforts drew attention from the public as multiple police cruisers

Police reported they were called for a report of a domestic disturbance at 9:45 p.m. Thursday where the female victim alleged that Scott, threatened to kill her and himself. According to the release, attempts to locate Scott that night were unsuccessful. Police obtained an arrest warrant and continued attempts to locate Scott.

Early Friday afternoon multiple police vehicles were seen in the vicinity of the east end of Milnor Road at U.S. 11 and an air unit was seen in the sky.

The news release said that members of the state police from Chambersburg, along with the state police Special Emergency Response Team served the arrest warrant at the Rocking M. Lane address where Scott was taken into custody without incident.

Police are continuing their investigation.
