WAYNESBORO – In an effort to better serve residents of the 90th Legislative District, Rep. Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) announced that he is establishing a satellite office in Greencastle. The office will officially open for business on Thursday, March 5.

“The opening of my second satellite office fulfills our goal of serving constituents of the 90th District in the most efficient and effective way possible,” said Schemel. “We have now opened offices in Waynesboro, Hamilton Township and Greencastle, which makes the legislative services my staff and I provide easily accessible to a majority of district residents.”

The satellite office is located in the Antrim Township Building, 10655 Antrim Church Road, Greencastle. The office will be open on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is (717) 749-7384.

“Antrim Township has generously offered the use of this space, which goes unused during our hours of operation, at no cost to the state,” Schemel added. “This is an excellent example of government bodies working together to offer expanded services to the public without adding to the expense for the taxpayer.”

Some of the services provided by Schemel’s district office staff include driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals; copies of birth and death certificates; PACE and PACENET applications for seniors; copies of state legislation; information on all state agencies and departments; assistance with Property Tax and Rent Rebate forms; and scheduling of state Capitol tours.

Schemel’s full-time district office is located at 1402 E. Main St. in Waynesboro, where he will be hosting an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 19, from 1-4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend.
