Greencastle M&T Bank robbed again

The Greencastle branch of M&T Bank was robbed for the second time in 10 days Friday morning.
Greencastle police were called to the bank at 643 E. Baltimore St. at 10:05 a.m. for the report of a bank robbery. The same bank was robbed by an armed man on the morning of Oct. 22.
Police said the suspect, a white male, fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He displayed a handgun during the robbery.
Police released a security photo of the robber. In the photo he is pulling a handgun from beneath his clothing. He was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap.
According to the police public information release, the Greencastle Police Department K9 tracked the suspect to the area of an unknown waiting vehicle.
Police said there were no injuries.
Assisting the Greencastle police were the Mercersburg Police Department, Washington Township Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
Greencastle Police Chief John Phillippy requested Greencastle-Antrim School District officials to lockdown the campus buildings around 10 a.m. The lockdown was lifted at 11:30 a.m.
The police investigation is continuing.
