The October version of First Friday in downtown Greencastle promises to get visitors “Rockin’ into Fall!”

The festivities from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, will appeal to the inner rocker in everyone as the 2014 season of First Friday comes to a close in Greencastle.

Music on the square will come from Rudy and the Bluefish.

Fall-themed activities will take center stage for the event, along with free tastings, music and food, and many artists.

Visitors may purchase food items on the square from El Sombrero, Tracey’s Orchard, Falafel Shack and Nathan Miller Chocolates.

Other activities will appeal to all ages: artists at many of the shops; the Greencastle-Antrim High School Art Club with face painting and a craft workshop; book signing; wine and beer tasting at Highline Restaurant & Railway Lounge; beer tasting at John Allison Public House.

First Friday is sponsored by Waste Management, the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce and the Greencastle Area Arts Council.
