Blood drive today in Greencastle

A blood drive runs from noon to 6 p.m. today at the Greencastle Church of the Brethren on South Carlisle Street.

You can help save a life by giving the gift of blood.  There is no substitute for real blood, and when it is needed, it must be there.  The process is simple and it makes a real, positive difference in someone’s life.  PLEASE GIVE BLOOD.

Donors must be 17 years of age or older (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Donors may give every 56 days.

Donors should eat within 3 to 4 hours before donating. Donors should present blood donor card or other identification when donating.
