OBITUARY: Vivian M. Chamberlin

Vivian M. Chamberlin, age 96, a resident of Providence Place of Chambersburg since February 2004 and formerly of Edward Drive, Greencastle, died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 in Providence Place.

Born Jan. 26, 1916 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Wagner) Shrader.

She and her husband, Daniel M. Chamberlin, were married Oct. 22, 1943. He died Jan. 2, 1999.

She was a 1937 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Vivian had worked at the former Stanley Co. of Chambersburg and was last employed at Lehman's Egg Service of Greencastle.

She had attended the Otterbein United Brethren Church in Greencastle.

Vivian was the last of her immediate family and is survived by seven nieces.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Fred Shrader and Benjamin Shrader.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 from the Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg with Chaplain John Rauch officiating.

There will be no public viewing.

Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Otterbein United Brethren Church, 146 Leitersburg St., Greencastle, PA 17225.
