Archaeology meeting on tap tonight in Waynesboro

Cumberland Valley Chapter #27 of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology, Inc. will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 4 , at 7 p.m. in the Visitor's Center at Renfrew Museum and Park, 1010 E. Main Street, Waynesboro. Scott Parker, archaeologist and Chapter member, will give a PowerPoint presentation on "Archaeology at the Covenanter Cemetery and Stoner Farm." Both sites are in Waynesboro. The Covenanter Cemetery is at Renfrew and the Stoner Farm is at 8777 Lyons Road.  Mr. Parker is also the president of Little Antietam Creek, Inc. (LACI). It is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and educate people of all ages in history and the process of historical and archaeological research.
