OBITUARY: Carl E. Clark

Carl Eugene Clark, 69, of Greencastle, died Monday evening, May 28, 2012, at NMS Health Care, Hagerstown, Md.

He was the husband of Carolyn Frances Baer Clark, his wife 46 years.

Born Jan. 30, 1943, in Diamond, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earl Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Kendle Clark.

Mr. Clark retired in 2003 from ABF Freight Systems.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Greencastle; and Teamster Local 776, Harrisburg.

Surviving, besides his wife, are his children: Brian E. Clark and wife Carol of North Carolina, Edward A. Clark and wife Melissa of Greencastle and Lisa R. Clark Peters and husband Joe of Greencastle; grandchildren, David, Mark, Hank, Benjamin, Tyler, Dani, Audrey and Hannah; and sisters Carol Petenbrink and husband Junior of Meyersdale and  Helen Young of Canton, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling arrangements.

There will not be visiting at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 1 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle with his pastor, Rev William W. DeHass officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
