Greencastle girl wins state gymnastics title

Ellie Divelbiss, 7, of Greencastle, is a state champion in gymnastics. She won first place All Around with a score of 35.750 at the first-ever Level 3 Maryland State Gymnastics Championship held Sunday, April 29 at 4 Star Gymnastics in Williamsport, Md. The young athelte won first place on the uneven parallel bars with a 8.8, second place on the balance beam with a 9.350, fourth place in the floor exercise with a 8.9 and she received an 8.7 on vault. This is Ellie's second year on the competitive team at 4 Star and she is coached by Nica Sutch. Ellie is in Jennifer Wilhide's first-grade class at Greencastle-Antrim Primary School.
