Pennsylvanians go to primary polls

The Pennsylvania Primary Election is Tuesday, April 24. Republicans and Democrats will nominate candidates for political offices at the state and national level.
In Greencastle-Antrim, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Precincts are: Greencastle 1, Grace United Church of Christ, 128 E. Baltimore St.; Greencastle 2, Greencastle Church of the Brethren Annex, 36 S. Carlisle St.; Antrim 1, Greencastle Baptist Church, 2377 Buchanan Trail W.; Antrim 2, Kauffman Ruritan Club, 7289 Ruritan Drive; Antrim 3, Shady Grove Community Center; Antrim 4, State Line Community Center; and Greencastle 5, Grace Bible Church, 2327 Hoffman Road.
Republican ballots
The names on the ballot in the Republican party include: President of the United States - Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum; United States Senator - David Christian, Marc Scaringi, Steven Welch, Tom Smith and Sam Rohrer; Attorney General, David Freed; Auditor General, Frank Pinto and John Maher; State Treasurer - Diana Vaughan; 9th Congressional District Representative, Bill Shuster; General Assembly 33rd Senatorial District, Richard Alloway II; General Assembly 90th Legislative District, Todd Rock; as well as representative and alternates to the Republican National Convention.
Democratic ballots
The names of the ballot in the Democratic party include: President of the United States - Barack Obama; United States Senator, Joseph Vodvarka and Bob Casey Jr.; Attorney General, Kathleen Kane and Patrick Murphy; Auditor General, Eugene Depasquale; State Treasurer, Robert McCord; and delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Greencastle resident Sheldon Schwartz is running a write-in campaign for the General Assembly 90th Legislative District.
