Mitt Romney's Greencastle appearance sold out

Mitt Romney is coming to Greencastle and his appearance is sold out.

Franklin County Republican Party chairman Dwight D. Weidman confirmed Wednesday evening that former Massachusetts Governor and GOP Presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney will be the keynote speaker at the annual Franklin County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner, to be held Sunday, April 22 at  Green Grove Gardens Events Center in Greencastle.

Weidman confirmed the news by e-mail April 4 at 8:47 p.m.

The dinner had been originally scheduled for April 16, but the date was changed to accomodate Governor Romney's travel schedule.

Weidman reported Saturday morning that the event is now sold out. All the tickets sold in less than two days following the announcement that Romney would be there. Weidman said the crowd will be in excess of 600 at the Greencastle facility.
