Trout season in Franklin County coming early

Just like the arrival of spring, trout season comes early in Franklin County again this year.

Trout season will open on March 31 in 18 counties in southeastern Pennsylvania, including Franklin. The first day of trout season for the remainder of the state will be April 14.

Anglers can also purchase a 2012 fishing license at the PFBC website.
