Antrim park grant applications open through April 13

Antrim Township will accept applications for the 2012 Facilities Grant Program through 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 13. There is $32,000 avilable.

Any nonprofit park or recreational organization that is open to the general public in the Greencastle-Antrim community serving citizens of Antrim Township may apply for funding.

Applications and program guidelines that must be followed may be obtained at the Antrim Township Municipal Office, 10655 Antrim Church Road, Greencastle, PA 17225 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are also available at www.twp.antrim.pa.us or by calling 587-3818.

The Antrim Township Park Committee wil review the applications and make recommendations to the Antrim Township Board of Supervisors. Funding will be available in May 2012 for those organizations that qualify, with funds to be utilized and receipts verifying approved expenditures returned to Antrim Township for audit by Nov. 2, 2012.
