OBITUARY: Harold R. Angle

Harold R. Angle, 72, formerly of Greencastle, died late Thursday afternoon, March 8, 2012, at the Community Living Center of the VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born Oct. 10, 1939, in Welsh Run, he was a son of the late H. Raymond and Nellie V. Shinham Angle.

Harold was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Army.

He is survived by siblings, Dorothy J. Mills of Chambersburg, Eleanor L. Miller of Mercersburg, John E. Angle of Greencastle and Charles L. Angle of Smithsburg, Md.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth R. and Donald E. Angle; his nephew, Dale R. Angle; and niece, Robin Angle.

A graveside service was held the morning of Saturday, March 10 at Welsh Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Mercersburg, with Rev. Paul A. Martin officiating.
