OBITUARY: Patricia L. Plum

Patricia L. Plum, age 71, of 146 Apple Dr., Greencastle, died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in her home.

Born Feb. 23, 1941 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Winiferd and Pauline C. (Pebble) Eckstine. She married Ira E. “Gene” Plum Jan. 2, 1989.

Pat retired from the former Regency Thermographers of Waynesboro.

She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed going antiquing.

Surviving family, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Debbie (wife of Robert) Shaffer, Chambersburg and Kathy (wife of David) Grimsley, Hagerstown, Md.; one son, David (husband of Nancy) Brown Jr., Lancaster; three step-daughters, Judy (wife of Wayne) Craig, Orrstown, Aleesa (wife of Brian) Banzhoff, Hagerstown, Diane (wife of Jeffrey) Haupt, Boonsboro, Md.; four sisters,  Barbara Lazar,  Noreen Davis, Dorothy Guthrie, all of Williamsport, Pa. and Linda Eckstine, Funkstown, Md.; one brother Tommy Eckstine, Washington, D.C.; and number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell Brown and Michael Brown; and one brother, Winiferd Eckstine Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, from the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, with Rev. Adam Leeper officiating.

Burial will be in the Shank's Church Of The Brethren Cemetery near Greencastle.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 12 at the funeral home Monday and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
