Scouts to collect Christmas trees in Greencastle for recycling

The Environmental Education Advisory Committee of the Greencastle-Antrim School District and Boy Scout Troop 99 are conducting a community service project by collecting Christmas trees for recycling.

For persons residing in the Borough of Greencastle, trees will be collected Jan. 7. Residents are asked to place trees by curbs on that date before 8 a.m. Christmas trees may also be dropped off at Tayamentasachta Environmental Center, 500 E. Leitersburg St., anytime after Christmas and before 10 a.m. Jan. 7.
