Teen at Manito faces drug charges

Sean Douglas Varner, 19, Amberson, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of packing. He brought a powdery white substance in a small plastic bag to Manito School, 7564 Browns Mill Road, on Nov. 2. He told the other students the package in his socks was cocaine. When Pennsylvania State Police confiscated it, he said it was crushed prescription medications.
