WHAT'S GOING ON? ... with those flamingos around town?

Some pink flamingos suddenly appeared around Greencastle last week. They carried letters around their necks, a ransom note of sorts, refusing to leave unless terms were met.
The birds are part of "Project Pink Flamingo" from homeroom 218 at Greencastle-Antrim Middle School. The students "flocked" other homerooms and area businesses to raise money for Courtney Sprenkle, a 17-year-old senior at Waynesboro Area Senior High School, who is battling leukemia.
Since pink flamingos are very territorial, once they find a home, they will roost on that property for a long time. Therefore, businesses must hire the trained, professional Removal Technicians from room 218 to gently capture these pesky, but very lovable pink birds and find them new places to live. The businesses may also opt to purchase insurance so that the flock doesn't decide to settle in the same place twice. All proceeds go directly to Courtney's expenses.
