There is nothing more important than taking care of those who fight for our freedom. That is why on Memorial Day 2011, Dr. Derrik Metz and Antrim Chiropractic Center in Greencastle have joined with the International Chiropractors Association to provide one year of free chiropractic services to veterans returning from deployment in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The ICA developed this program because they recognized the need to support America's soldiers newly returned from combat overseas. They contacted chiropractors throughout the U.S. asking them to participate in this program. There are currently over 100 participating providers in the U.S. and Virgin Islands, and more are joining every day.

Dr. Metz decided to join the cause after visiting family over the Easter holiday that included a cousin, a U.S Navy SEAL, who had just returned from deployment in Afghanistan. “The men and women deployed overseas are put in stressful and dangerous situations that are taxing on their body and overall health,” recognized Dr. Metz.  “This is just a small way we can say thank you by providing free chiropractic care.”

Antrim Chiropractic Center, located on Williamsport Pike, specializes in full spine chiropractic care providing effective drug free natural relief from conditions such as neck pain, back pain, sciatica and headaches and many other musculoskeletal conditions.

Antrim Chiropractic is owned by Dr. Metz, a Roaring Spring native. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Chiropractic, Spartanburg, S.C.
