Franklin County 4-H to hold first auction

Franklin County 4-H will host its first auction Friday, May 20 beginning at 4 p.m., at the Hurley Auctions, 2800 Buchanan Trail East, Greencastle.  Doors open and silent auction at 4 p.m. and the live auction starts at 6:30 p.m.

All the proceeds will support 4-H youth programs and will be used to help send 4-Hers to camps and retreats, to provide leadership opportunities, and to conduct many programs throughout the county.

Auction items include a weekend getaway at a Caledonia cabin, Penn State football tickets, a Hitchcock Wingback chair, eight-piece stainless steel cookware set, carriage driving lesson, two Gettysburg Civil War Re-enactment tickets, a night’s stay at Monte Vista Bed & Breakfast in Blue Ridge Summit, Totem Pole Playhouse tickets, Whitetail Resort beginner ski or snowboard package, Longaberger baskets, Hess toys, jewelry, paintings by local artists, and many gift cards for local restaurants and businesses.
