An evening with Elvis and Patsy Cline planned in Greencastle

David King singing Elvis and Penny Eckman singing Patsy Cline will be

featured as a concert sponsored by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of

Commerce at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in the Greencastle-Antrim High School

auditorium.

Tickets are on sale at the chamber office, 217 E. Baltimore St., and at

Carl's Drug Store in Greencastle. The cost is $15.

³We had a unique opportunity to bring together two experienced entertainers

who have a reputation for delighting audiences with their performances² said

Joel Fridgen, executive director.

³We appreciate that David and Penny agreed to a joint concert for the

benefit our organization.² added Fridgen.

Eckman is a ³Patsy Cline Tribute Artist,² performing over 30 Patsy Cline

signature songs at multiple venues on the east coast. She was featured at

the 2007 Old Home Week and has performed more than 200 concerts.

David King has had the opportunity to share the stage with many ³legends²

and ³greats² in the world of entertainment over the past 20-plus years in

show business.  During that time King was performing from Pennsylvania to

Tennessee to the Sunshine state of Florida with his ³Tribute to Elvis²

shows. He was honored to have been able to perform with many who performed

with Elvis throughout his career. King went into full-time ministry as a

minister of the Gospel in 2003.
