Woman dies after Antrim accident
A two-vehicle accident Saturday in Antrim Township resulted in the death of one of the drivers.
Pennsylvania State Police said Betty Kinsey, 80, 1378 Milnor Road, died two days after an automobile accident at 3049 Buchanan Trail E. Police said she had been turning around in the driveway of Shady Grove Farm Market at 11:10 a.m. Feb. 4 and entered the road into the path of a westbound Waynesboro man, 70.
Kinsey sustained serious injuries and was transported to York Trauma Center. The other driver, not identified, was taken to Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, with non-life threatening injuries.
Kinsey’s passenger, a 70-year-old Greencastle woman, was not injured.
Kinsey was in a coma and succumbed to her injuries at 6:52 p.m. Feb. 6, according to York County Coroner Barry L. Bloss. She died of blunt force head trauma.
