Letters to Santa
Santa Claus will be arriving on rooftops this weekend, and children will awaken to his generous gifts. As always, the jolly elf just knows what everyone wants, even if the youngsters didn't get a chance to sit on his lap or write him a letter. In the merry spirit of the season, though, Santa decided to share some of the letters sent to him by Greencastle area kids who used the Chamber of Commerce mailbox. Never fear, he read the letters first and his helpers took notes. He loves the greetings and the lists.
"Ho ho ho!" he says. "Happy Christmas to all."
Dear Santa,
How are you and Mrs. Claus? I will leave your reindeer some carrots out back this Christmas. I will leave you some cookies and milk by the Christmas tree this year. I have been going to preschool and church school this year like a big girl. I reallly like my teachers. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a safe trip around the world.
