Veterans Day to be marked in Greencastle with ceremony

Veterans Day ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in front of Greencastle Borough Hall, 60 N. Washington St.

American Legion Post 373 and VFW Post 6319 are sponsoring the program.

The public is invited and should bring chairs.

The guest speaker will be Col. James K. Rose of the Army War College in Carlisle. A color guard will present the flag.

Food will be available at the American Legion, South Carlisle Street, following the ceremony. Richard Walck will have his World War II memorabilia display at the Legion for people to view.
