Mercersburg woman falls asleep at the wheel

Melanie King, Mercersburg, told police she fell asleep while driving east at 6:41 p.m. Oct. 28. Her 2007 Subaru Outback crossed into the west lane at 4967 Buchanan Trail W. and King then oversteered back into the eastbound lane. The vehicle flipped three times on the shoulder and came to rest on its roof in the road. King received minor injuries.
