Man who flipped vehicle in Greencastle charged

The driver of the overturned vehicle that happened on Aug. 12 in downtown Greencastle has been charged.

Two months after his car overturned near Greencastle’s Center Square, Anthony Patrick Hensley, 28, Frederick, Md. has been charged. His car was overturned in a one-vehicle crash at 10 W. Baltimore St. at 1:18 p.m. Aug. 12 and Hensley was sitting on the sidewalk when Greencastle police arrived.

He told the officer he had take one and a half tablets of generic Xanax that day and smoked marijuana in the past seven days.

The lab results from Waynesboro Hospital indicated that Hensley had THC in his bloodstream.

He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, careless driving, driving without a license and driving at a safe speed.
