Bob's Florist and Gift Shop is sponsoring a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. There is a $1 entry fee. Participants can pick up their small pumpkin starting Friday, Sept. 24. People can use markers, glitter and paint. The pumpkins need to be turned in Thursday, Sept. 30. They will be judged and put on display during First Friday at Bob's. Prizes include a Giant Pumpkin for carving as first prize; and the choice of a fresh floral pumpkin arrangement or gift certificate for candy as second and third prizes.
