Glenn Myers, left, Bill Spencer and Charlie Appleby, employees of Ralph E. Tolbert Masonry, Chambersburg, make repairs to the Center Square base once again. It was damaged over the weekend by a Chambersburg area driver. “We usually do this once or twice a year,” said Spencer. “Yeah, job security here,” added Myers. The trio estimated the job would take a good two days.

Greencastle Police reported that Harry E. Morgan, 4006 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, was driving west on East Baltimore Street at 2:21 a.m. Sunday, June 20, and struck the center stone structure. Testing showed a blood alcohol level of .212. Morgan was charged with driving under the influence. He was not injured in the crash.
