Public invited to dedication of new Trinity Lutheran sanctuary

Members and friends of Trinity Lutheran, Greencastle, will gather Sunday, May 4 for a service to dedicate the new sanctuary. The service will begin at 3 p.m. with Bishop James Dunlop of the Lower Susquehanna Synod and Pastor Bill DeHass of Trinity presiding. A reception will follow the service.
During 2013 Trinity engaged GRC Construction, Waynecastle, to erect an addition which includes the new sanctuary seating 275, an entrance way, narthex, sacristy, choir room and kitchen. In addition to this GRC renovated the old sanctuary into a multi-use room, the old multi-use area into new classrooms and a meeting room into the new nursery.
The pipe organ was repaired and moved to a new chamber behind the front wall of the sanctuary. This work was completed by the Lawless Organ Company of Greencastle.
The congregation worshiped in the new sanctuary for the first time Nov. 13, 2013.
The public is cordially invited to attend the service on May 3.
