The TELL youth group from Trinity and Evangelical Lutheran churches recently participated in Souper Bowl of Caring which empowers youth from across the nation to work together to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the Super Bowl football game.

Hunger is a problem with approximately 15 million children in the U.S. struggling with it every day.

The two congregations' youth collected 502 food items and $458 to be donated to the local food banks of Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.
