Molly Thompson, a first-grade student at Greencastle-Antrim Primary School, was one of 111 students who recognized their favorite teacher during the Apple Fest held at Tayamentasachta Environmental Center on Saturday, Oct. 10.

G-A teachers hosted a booth for students and their parents to visit and decorate a star, recognizing a teacher who has helped them “shine.”

The booth was a part of the teachers’ outreach program, “Investing in Our Future,” so the community is made aware of the contributions of the teaching staff.

The decorated stars were then presented to those recognized teachers.
