Clear sailing on U.S. 11 south of Greencastle

The Exit 3 bridge opened for two-way traffic on Thursday, Oct. 16.
Except for some work off the roadway, the PennDOT project is done.
The state changed the layout of the south on and off ramps, widened the road, made repairs and put a new deck on the bridge.
During construction, traffic was limited to northbound only, with a detour on I-81 for southbound travelers.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said the contractor, Trumbull Corporation, is completing a punch list of final details, and spot painting at night should be completed by Oct. 22.
