Allison-Antrim Museum, Inc., 365 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, is part of the family of Blue Star Museums, a national appreciation program for military families. Between Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, and Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, all U.S. service women and men and their families receive free admission to any Blue Star Museum.

For a list of Blue Star Museums and for more information on Blue Star Museums, which is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America, visit:  http://arts.gov/news/2014/blue-star-museums-offers-free-admission-military-families-2000-museums-nationwide.

As the summer-vacation period begins, it is hoped that the news of this program is shared  with any woman or man who is currently serving their country, regarding free admission to Blue Star Museums all across the U.S.

Allison-Antrim Museum is open Monday through Friday, from noon to 4 p.m. and at other times by appointment.
