Dog owners are reminded of the requirement to have a license for their dogs. They are available to purchase by contacting the county treasurer.

All dogs 3 months or older must be licensed. An annual dog license is $8.45 and a lifetime license is $51.45.  For spayed or neutered animals, the annual fee is $6.45 and lifetime is $31.45. Discounts are available to older adult owners and people with disabilities who own dogs.

Individuals who have questions regarding dog licensing laws can call the Department of Agriculture Dog Law Enforcement Office at (717) 787-3062 or visit www.licenseyourdogPA.com for more information.
