Viola M. Plum of Greencastle may be 97, but that didn’t stop her from taking a “bike” ride during Old Home Week during a family gathering billed “The Daley Cuzins Reunion.” Plum, who wasn’t feeling well that day, had to be coaxed by her granddaughter into attending the event, held at the Jerome R. King Playground Aug. 1. Plum got to visit with family that came from as far away as Texas and who she hadn’t seen for more than 30 years. She also got her first motorcycle ride at the ripe old age of 96.
