The Greencastle Exchange Club will hold its annual Halloween Parade at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.

Registration for the parade is free and will begin at 6 p.m. in the Jerome R. King Playground's southern-most pavilion. Pre-registration is available this year and recommended.

Registration forms can be picked up at Graphics Universal, Antrim Way Honda or the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce office. Registration forms can be dropped off at these locations as well.

There will be three parade competition categories of individual, groups and floats.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three in each category.

The parade route will stay the same as previous years, ending with free hot chocolate and cookies in the playground’s northern-most pavilion.

Prizes are being sponsored by Greencastle Exchange Club.

Additional lighting along the parade route will be donated by Valley Quarries, Chambersburg. Lighting in the park will be donated by Ted Mercado of State Farm Insurance, Greencastle. The judges’ platform will be donated by Tom Shockey Collision, Inc., Waynesboro.

The Borough of Greencastle has set 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 as Trick or Treat night. Residents who wish to participate in Trick or Treating should turn on their porch lights.
