Time to register for many Old Home Week events
The 38th Triennial Greencastle-Antrim Old Home Week celebration is just around the corner and the badges have arrived.
Badges cost $6. The purchase also includes an official program. While many events of Old Home Week have no admission fee, badges are required at several events and are a treasured memento of the triennial celebration. Badges are required for the Flower Show, Adult Dance, Town & Township Tour and the Pageant.
Badges are now on sale at the following locations:
Anna's Paperworks, Carl's Drug Store, Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, Corning Federal Credit Union, Dodie's Design, Echo Pilot, F&M Trust (Greencastle branch), Food Lion (Greencastle store), Jerry's Barber Shop, Kline's Grocery Store, Mikie's Ice Cream, Orrstown Bank (Greencastle branch), Sunnyway Foods (Greencastle store), Susquehanna Bank (Greencastle branch) and True Value (Greencastle).
Badges will also be available for purchase at the required events and at the Old Home Week Headquarters on Center Square at Susquehanna Bank (old Conn Building). Headquarters will open at noon Friday, Aug. 2 and will be open each day of the triennial.
Old Home Week T-shirts ($15), hats ($15) and visors ($12) are available for purchase at the Chamber of Commerce office and will be available at Old Home Week Headquarters.
Deadlines are approaching for a number of Old Home Week events as follows:
Flower Show, due by Thursday, July 20
Dog Show, due by Thursday, July 25
Parade, due by Monday, July 22
Window display registration, due by Saturday, July 27
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, register by Tuesday, Aug. 6
Alumni Reunion, register by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7
The following events will accept registration up until the date of the event:
Fred Kaley Run-Walk, Saturday, Aug. 3
Motorcycle Show, Saturday, Aug. 3 ($10 per cycle fee)
Loyal Daughters, Tuesday, Aug. 6 ($4 donation)
Old Timers Baseball Game, Wednesday, Aug. 7 (however registration is encouraged by July 31)
