Grease is the word at the G-AHS auditorium this weekend

Noah Graham, as Doody, draws a crowd after school during dress rehearsal for the Greencastle-Antrim High School Drama Club production of the musical “Grease” to be presented March 15, 16 and 17 in the high school auditorium.

The musical "Grease" comes to the Greencastle-Antrim High School stage this weekend. The high school Drama Club brings 1959 to life on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are sold at the door.

The students of Rydell High wade through the complexities of love, especially new girl Sandy Dombrowski, and bad boy Danny Zuko. Songs such as "We Go Together", "Hopelessly Devoted to You", and "You're the One That I Want", accompany the pair as they are attracted to each other.

Cast members include Drey Hepfer as Danny, Lauren Durniak as Sandy, Adam Oliver as Eugene, Noah Graham as Doody, Jason Yoder as Clarence Johnny Casino, Brady Smith as Kenickie, Zach Hendricks as Jeffrey, Paul Herman as Roger, Hunter Rodgers as Dusty, Jensen Stoner as Sonny, Madeline Heraty as Rizzo, Nikki Garns as Patty, Tabitha Rudy as Marty, Kayleigh Smith as Cici, Hailee Martin as Jan, Skyler Rickett as Ms. Lynch, Skyler Allen as Frenchy, and Noni Arnoult as Cha-Cha.

The Angels are Melissa Holmes as Mistyne, Madison Durniak as Lucy, Rowan Lewis as Sheila, Hannah Boschert as Maria, Grace Boscolo as Georgette, Breanne Carter as Barbara, Alyssa Scott as Annette, Hannah Peterson as Heloise, and Marissa Bear as Monica.

The cast rounds out with Jane Eberhardt as Janette, Dina Shamisheva as Denise, Izzy Waddelow as Paulette, Shelby Burkett as Sharlene, Marley Pensinger as Marlene, and Kaylynn Sellers as Mitzy. Four G-AHS faculty members also make an appearance.

The play is directed by Roz Bingaman, with Kevin Carley serving as producer/acting coach.
