Quartet to perform in Welsh Run

The Friends of Robert Kennedy Memorial Church at Welsh Run cordially invite you to the first Fall Event, a concert by the Cumberland Valley Quartet. 

It will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, with a dessert buffet followed by the concert at 7:15.

The Friends are an interested group of people who are actively maintaining the historic church. They recently purchased the fomer manse behind the church.

The buffet will be held in the manse and the quartet will sing in the church.

The southern gospel group hails from the area. They will include congregational singing in the program.

The church was started in 1741 and pastored by Rev. Robert Kennedy twice. It is located at the corner of Mercersburg Road, (PA 416), and Welsh Run Road (PA 995).
