Easter Egg Hunts to choose from for Greencastle-Antrim Saturday

There are two Easter eggs hunts in Greencastle Saturday.

The Greencastle Lions Club will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m.  at the Greencastle-Antrim School District’s Tayamentasachta Environmental Center.

It is for ages up to 12-years-old.

Prizes will be awarded per age group and a special treat will be given to every child.  

Community Grace Church will hold a 4 p.m. Easter egg hunt for the whole family at the Jerome R. King Playground. There will be 3,000 eggs to find, a coloring contest with prizes, hot dogs, snow cones, a bounce house and face painting. Everyone should bring their basket and camera. Community Grace is located at 17 N. Washington St., Greencastle.

The Mt. Parnell Lions Club of St. Thomas will hold an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m.  at the St. Thomas United Methodist Church, 360 St. Thomas-Edenville Road.

The hunt is for children 12 and under.

More than 4,500 candy-filled eggs will be hidden.

Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided.

The event will be held rain or shine.
