Trick-or-Treating back to Thursday
Halloween plans have been approved for Greencastle by borough council. Trick or Treating will revert to its traditional date, to be observed the Thursday of Halloween week. It will be held Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. Residents welcoming princesses and goblins should leave their porch lights on.
The Exchange Club will again sponsor the parade, set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. Registration will be at the Jerome King Playground, beginning at 6 p.m. The route will follow Carlisle Street to Center Square, east on Baltimore Street, north on Allison Street, west on Walter Avenue back to the north end of the park.
There is no rain date, and in case of imclement weather, the Exchange Club hopes to make the announcement by 2:30 p.m.
