Waste Management has scholarships available in local townships

 Mountain View Reclamation Landfill and Waste Management of Pennsylvania, in cooperation with the Citizens Advisory Committee of Antrim and Montgomery townships, invite high school seniors who are residents of Antrim or Montgomery Townships to apply for a one-time scholarship award. A maximum of $5,000 for students from each area has been reserved for the annual scholarship program. 

Awards in the amount of $5,000 will be distributed to high school seniors from Antrim Township and $5,000 in awards will be distributed to high school seniors from Montgomery Township.

A selection committee will determine the total number of scholarships awarded, along with the value of each scholarship.

Regardless of the high school they currently attend, all graduating seniors that reside in  Antrim Township or Montgomery Township are eligible for consideration.

The recipient may use this unique scholarship to fund any type of postsecondary study.  This includes one postsecondary course including technical and vocational programs, a two-year program or a traditional four-year program. 

Deadline for submission of the completed application is April 5. All materials, including essays and personal recommendations, must be post-marked no later than April 5.
