The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Tea and Taxes Mixer Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Lady Mary’s Royal Tea, and Liberty Tax Service which are located next to each other at 30 and 36 W. Baltimore St., Greencastle.

These two businesses opened within the past six months and while they are spectacularly unrelated in terms of product offerings and atmosphere, the two owners (Heaven Zweemer and Keely Neubaurer respectively) share something in common: they both embody the spirit of the American Dream. Both women are pursuing entrepreneurship, independence and of course, the pursuit of happiness.

Joining the festivities on Tuesday evening are two political figures in Pennsylvania: Congressman Bill Shuster and State Senator John Eichelberger.  Perhaps there is something about the history of Tea and Taxes and Civil Disobedience that is bringing these esteemed politicians to our humble town but we welcome them with open arms — and we welcome the public as well.

Festivities get underway at 4:30 p.m. An assortment of appetizers, desserts and beverages will be served at both locations and door prizes will be drawn from business card entries.
