Tickets available for popular Heritage Christmas Home Tour

A favorite event of the Greencastle-Antrim Heritage Christmas celebration is the annual Home Tour, that enables participants to tour local homes that are decorated for the holidays. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Heritage Christmas and although the home tour hasn’t always been part of the celebration, it is one of the most popular events.
This year promises to be memorable as five homes and one church are on the tour from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
Each of the five homes is unique in its own way but all are decked out for the holidays. The homes date from circa 1800 to 2006 and boast features such as plantation style columns, living rooms large enough to dance in, stained glass windows and secret passageways, transom windows and beautiful woodwork. Each home is decorated with warmth, style and beauty and all the homeowners on the tour are excited to share their homes. In one home on the tour, the centerpiece of the Great Room decorations is a magnificent 12-foot tree with over 100 blown glass ornaments.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, 217 E. Baltimore St. or at the shop, 144 E. Baltimore St. for $15. Tickets are also available the day of the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holiday House, located on Center Square of Greencastle, for $20.
The homes and the church can be visited in any order between 1 and 5 p.m. The homes will be marked with a Home Tour sign in front and the church, Antrim Brethren in Christ, will be offering refreshments during the open hours.
