Street work continues in Greencastle

ARRO Engineering inspector Steve Clark guaranteed the contracted crew would be in and out in one day.

They connected the water main from West Baltimore Street with the new one on South Carlisle Street.

They were indeed finished with the work at the southwest corner of Center Square by the end of the day Thursday.

The Franklin Street improvement project is in the final stages, with the water line at the underpass the last piece to be upgraded.

Paving is expected to be started yet this fall.
