Greencastle businesses welcome patrons ‘Downtown after Dark’ tonight

Friday, March 1 means time for activities after dark hosted by downtown Greencastle merchants.  

Bring friends and family members to check out the rock and roll photo booth, temporary tattoos, chocolate stout and strawberry wheat beer tasting and coordinating cupcakes at Sweet Pea Dessert and Fairy Godmother.  

Patrons are invited to paint a mini canvas with a spring theme while having a sip of wine or other beverage at Anna's Paperworks, with a 10 percent discount on a total purchase that evening.

Upscale Consignment Shop is paying tribute to Dr. Seuss, born on March 2.

Balance Yoga Studio is having a free class, and Girl Scouts selling cookies.

Sweet Myrtle is celebrating its expansion and move to 11 E. Baltimore St. with a Spring Open House from 4  to 8 p.m., and carrying the celebration over to Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

John Allison Public House will continue its tradition of beer tasting on the first Friday of the month, featuring a brewery company.

Downtown after Dark happens on the first Friday of the month during February, March and April from 5 to 8 p.m.
