Public events planned for hospital addition

Chambersburg Hospital is holding two public events at its new King Street Addition. The addition is scheduled to open in December.

The King Street Addition was designed to create a soothing, comfortable atmosphere to help patients rest easier and heal faster.

The public is invited to tour the addition on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The public is invited to a blessing service that will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 in the addition. Major faith groups will be represented and participating in the ceremony.

The Chambersburg Community Chorus and the Park Avenue United Methodist Church Bell Choir will perform.
